Track laying on the entire line began on February 1, accelerating toward the goal of completion and opening to traffic by the end of 2021.

Sixty-six key provincial construction projects, including the Zhejiang Chun'an section of the Liyang-Ningde National Expressway, Ningbo Rail Transit Line 4, and the Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taizhou Expressway project, were completed and put into use. "These projects have filled shortcomings in key areas and weak links of economic and social development and have played a supporting role in building Zhejiang Province into a strategic fulcrum of the domestic grand circulation and a strategic hub of the domestic and international dual circulation," said a relevant official from the Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
