Baishan City, in line with regional realities, has sounded the charge and is advancing the basic construction of projects in an orderly manner, with a strong atmosphere of seizing opportunities and striving for development throughout the city.

　　This year, Baishan City plans to implement 313 construction projects with investment of over 5 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.7%, with an annual planned investment of 18.61 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.4%.

　　Shortly after the Spring Festival holiday, multiple projects in Baishan City have already commenced construction. At the construction site of Baishan Huashun Beverage Co., Ltd.'s traditional Chinese medicine beverage processing and 132,000-ton Cambrian-Ordovician Mountain Spring Water Project, the site is bustling with activity, and indoor construction is progressing steadily. According to reports, the project has a total investment of 65 million yuan, covers an area of 14,816 square meters, with a total building area of 14,892 square meters, and mainly involves the construction of a 24,000 bottles/hour mountain spring water filling production line and other supporting facilities. At present, the main structure of the project has been completed, and the installation of internal supporting facilities is underway.

　　At the site of the Baishan City Culture, Sports and Art Center project, with a total investment of 457 million yuan, construction workers are methodically carrying out indoor construction. According to reports, the project has a total building area of 51,457 square meters. The main structure construction of the 25,329.47-square-meter gymnasium in Phase I of the project has been completed. Once completed, the project will become a landmark building with local characteristics.

　　“Winter idle” has become “winter busy.” At present, 22 construction projects with investment of over 5 million yuan in Baishan City have resumed or started construction, including 6 newly started projects and 16 resumed projects. While orderly carrying out winter project construction, Baishan City is also actively making various preparations for the centralized start of the spring “Three Earlys” projects.

　　Accelerate the preliminary work of projects. Make full use of the “winter idle” time, flexibly and effectively apply relevant policies, implement online “contactless” approval, ensure uninterrupted project approval work during the pandemic, and create favorable conditions for project resumption and start of construction.

　　Make every effort to solve existing project problems. Give full play to the functions of the city- and county-level project centers, promptly sort out problems existing in project construction, assist enterprises in solving problems in all aspects of project construction, and make every effort to ensure the progress of project construction.

　　Make preparations for the “Three Earlys” activity. The principal responsible persons of various localities and departments actively connect with project investors, clarifying one by one the deadlines for completing preliminary project work, investment plans, and start/resumption times, so as to ensure that more projects participate in the provincial “Three Earlys” activity.

　　This year, Baishan City plans to participate in 83 projects of the province's “Three Earlys” action, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%, with an annual planned investment of 8.68 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 39.1%.
