Recently, it was learned from the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission that, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government and according to a notice issued by the Office of the Leading Group for Major Engineering and Key Project Construction in Guizhou Province, the 2021 list of major engineering projects in Guizhou Province and the promotion plan have been issued, arranging a total of 4,071 provincial major engineering projects with an annual planned investment of 740.07 billion yuan.

　　The prominent feature of this year's planned arrangement of major engineering projects in Guizhou Province is its focus on the "Four Modernizations." A total of 3,154 "Four Modernizations" projects have been arranged, with an annual planned investment of 581.53 billion yuan, accounting for 78.6% of the total annual planned investment of the province's major engineering projects. Among them, there are 789 new industrialization projects with a planned investment of 124.62 billion yuan, 1,693 new urbanization projects with a planned investment of 356.443 billion yuan, 335 agricultural modernization projects with a planned investment of 49.018 billion yuan, and 337 tourism industrialization projects with a planned investment of 51.449 billion yuan.

　　Focusing on optimizing the investment structure, this year's arrangement of major engineering projects in Guizhou Province places greater emphasis on increasing the proportion of investment in industrial projects. A total of 2,533 major industrial projects have been arranged, with an annual planned investment of 465.612 billion yuan, accounting for 62.9% of the total investment in the province's major engineering projects. Among them, there are 194 projects for 12 agricultural characteristic and advantageous industries with a planned investment of 27.26 billion yuan, 647 projects for the ten major industrial industries with a planned investment of 108.033 billion yuan, and 599 projects under the ten major projects for service industry innovation and development with a planned investment of 84.634 billion yuan. At the same time, focusing on the in-depth implementation of the "Six Networks Campaign" and filling shortcomings in public services, 953 major infrastructure projects have been arranged with an annual planned investment of 190.961 billion yuan, and 585 major livelihood projects with an annual planned investment of 83.497 billion yuan.
