　　At the Guangxi Daping Expressway project, machines roar as the XCMG TZ3S rock drilling jumbo stands out, its three arms spread like a roc taking flight, or like a steel warrior standing guard at the Banjiao tunnel section of the Daping Expressway.

　　Because the Banjiao tunnel section lies in a tectonic karst peak-cluster low-mountain landform area with rocky geology, the XCMG TZ3S rock drilling jumbo will face multiple challenges in construction difficulty and construction stability!
 

　　The Daping Expressway is an important component of the convenient expressway network linking Guizhou, Chongqing and other places in southwest China to ASEAN countries. At the same time, it also connects many tourist attractions such as Daxin, Longzhou and Pingxiang; once completed, drivers can enjoy the karst scenery along the way.
 

　　Also running at full power is the Laibin-to-Du'an section of the Heba Expressway, where the project owner requires mechanized construction of the left and right tunnel tubes to be carried out simultaneously.
 

　　At Jinchai No. 1 Tunnel in Mashan County, because the tunnel inlet under construction is only 1.5 km, and to improve tunnel construction safety, especially the safety of workers during the drilling and blasting stage, the project owner brought in the XCMG TZ3A three-arm rock drilling jumbo. The machine has strong power, four-wheel drive and rear-axle steering, with road-surface adaptive capability, well meeting passability requirements for complex terrain such as tunnels and perfectly matching the project requirements.
 

　　In Mahuai Village, Dongjia Community, Moyang Town, Luodian County, Guizhou Province, in order to build a "road out of the mountains," villagers used steel chisels and hammers to carve out a "man-made tunnel" of more than 200 meters. In the low, narrow karst caves, everyone could only kneel or lie prone, chipping away at the rock with hammer and pick, wearing through gloves, tearing their skin and soaking it with blood... In deep-mountain areas such as Chongqing and Sichuan, stories of contemporary "Foolish Old Men" are still frequently staged!
