Recently, the provincial government held a provincial meeting on advancing key water conservancy projects to study and resolve issues in the supporting works of the ten major water conservancy projects and to arrange and deploy the construction of nine key water conservancy projects newly implemented from 2020—2022.

　　Vice Governor Wu Guoding attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He emphasized that the progress of key water conservancy projects must be further accelerated. For the supporting works of the ten major water conservancy projects, preliminary design approval must be completed and substantive construction must start within the first half of this year; for the nine newly implemented key water conservancy projects, the responsible entities must be clearly defined in accordance with the principle of tiered responsibility and territorial management, project timelines must be firmly adhered to, and construction funds must be raised through multiple channels to ensure that construction starts on schedule. The organization and leadership of key water conservancy project construction must be further strengthened, the primary responsibility of project entities must be fully shouldered, coordination and linkage among departments must be enhanced, and construction management must be comprehensively strengthened, striving to open up new prospects for modern water conservancy construction in our province, ensuring a good start and solid first step for the "14th Five-Year Plan," and celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party with outstanding achievements.

　　The meeting also arranged and deployed the current key work concerning agriculture, rural areas, and farmers.
