Preparation of the special planning for Phase II of the Nangiao New Town-Oriental Sports Center Bus Rapid Transit system.

With the preparation of the master plan for Pujiang Town in Minhang District, the advancement of planning for the Sanlin area in Pudong New Area, and the move-in of a large number of residents, more complete public transportation is needed. To meet the travel needs of residents along the route and in conjunction with the implementation of the Puye Road project, relevant departments of Minhang District and Pudong New Area have both proposed adding BRT stations. Accordingly, on the basis of the original special planning, in accordance with the requirements of the new round of the master plan and the planning and development conditions of the areas along the route, an assessment of the original "Special Planning for the Nangiao New Town-Oriental Sports Center Bus Rapid Transit" has been carried out, and, based on travel demand along the route, preparation has begun on the "Special Adjustment Planning for the Nangiao New Town-Oriental Sports Center Bus Rapid Transit" covering the section from Shendu Highway Station to the Oriental Sports Center terminal station.

It is reported that the Phase I (Pudong-Minhang district boundary to S32) new road construction project of Puye Road, which is about to commence, has already reserved dedicated lane space for the Nangiao New Town-Oriental Sports Center Bus Rapid Transit.

According to the "Special Planning for the Red Lines of Roads Related to the Nangiao New Town-Oriental Sports Center Bus Rapid Transit," the Phase II plan for the Fengpu Express Line adds six new stations based on the characteristics of the route. Among them, Binjiang Road Station, Jianghan Road Station, Jiangyue Road Station, Luheng Road Station, and Hengwu Road Station (cross-district station) are located in Minhang District, while Hengwu Road Station (cross-district station) and Longyao Road Station are located in Pudong New Area. Planned stations: a total of 9 stations are set in Minhang District, namely Shendu Highway Station, Binjiang Road Station (new), Jianghan Road Station (new), Lianhang Road Station, Jiangyue Road Station (new), Chenhang Road Station, Jianghua Road Station, and Luheng Road Station (new). Among them, Jianghan Road Station, Lianhang Road Station, Jiangyue Road Station, Chenhang Highway Station, Jianghua Road Station, and Luheng Road Station are located within the scope of the Puye Road (Phase I) project.
