　　It was recently learned from the Changsha Key Construction Project Affairs Center that since the start of the new year, a total of 372 major construction projects across the city have commenced or been completed, launching a new round of project construction gathering, mobilization, and departure, and achieving a “good start” for project construction across the city.

　　According to statistics, a total of 203 major projects participated in this round of centralized commencement activities, with a total investment of 83.25 billion yuan, including 136 major industrial projects, 36 social livelihood and ecological environment projects, and 31 infrastructure projects, with 23 projects each with a total investment exceeding 1 billion yuan; a total of 169 major projects participated in the completion activities, with a total investment of 106.4 billion yuan, including 113 major industrial projects, 26 social livelihood and ecological environment projects, and 30 infrastructure projects.

　　The projects in this round of centralized commencement and completion activities are mainly industrial projects and infrastructure construction projects, covering key industries such as intelligent manufacturing, software, and green food, as well as multiple fields including machinery, transportation, and education; they include both landmark manufacturing key projects such as Shanhe Industrial City (Phase III) and Haoon Acoustics, as well as infrastructure construction projects such as the Xiangluzhou Bridge, along with “Exquisite Changsha” construction projects such as the Jinxing Road quality improvement and renovation, and social livelihood projects such as the Hongxing Global Agricultural and Sideline Products Wholesale Center.

　　It was recently learned that last year, Changsha adhered to the concept of “projects first,” concentrated its forces, gathered resources, and integrated policies, coordinating assistance with high frequency and efficiency and vigorously advancing project construction. According to preliminary statistics, last year the city's 1,320 major projects completed a cumulative investment of 449.85 billion yuan, accounting for 125.2% of the annual plan, exceeding the annual target by 25 percentage points and 4.7 percentage points faster than the same period the previous year.

　　“In the new year, the centralized commencement and completion of a large number of major projects has injected new strong momentum into Changsha's good start and solid steps for the '14th Five-Year Plan,' laying a solid foundation for high-quality economic development and high-quality urban construction,” said the main person in charge of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission. This year, Changsha will continue to focus on landmark key manufacturing projects and key industrial chain projects, and in accordance with the “five-in-one” scheduling and assistance mechanism, implement the “five ones” scheduling mechanism and “six lists” ledger management, achieving operations by wall chart, refined management, and optimized services, and continuously setting off new upsurges in project construction.
