On January 15, the first pile foundation of the Xianyang Gaoke 1st Road Weihe River Bridge project was successfully drilled.

The main line of the Weihe River Bridge is designed with a total length of 1803m, of which the bridge length is 891m. The main bridge is a cable-stayed bridge without backstays, with a length of 390m; the approach bridge is a steel-concrete composite girder bridge, with a length of 501m. The bridge pile foundations are designed as friction piles, with pile diameters of 1.8m and 2.5m. The pile foundations are constructed with rotary drilling rigs. For in-water piles, depending on geological conditions and the effect of mud slurry wall protection, reverse circulation drilling rigs will be used when the hole-forming effect of rotary drilling rigs is poor.

The project management team held multiple discussions on the construction organization and technical plans, refined and decomposed the construction procedures, and assigned responsibilities to individuals to ensure a perfect start. The smooth drilling of the first pile foundation sounded the clarion call for the start of the "Weihe River Bridge Assault Battle" and also gave the project staff a "shot in the arm."

Everyone expressed that they will take this as an opportunity to overcome difficulties, uphold high standards and strict requirements, demonstrate the Rocket Force's fine style of being able to fight and win, and ensure the project completes its construction and production tasks with high quality and efficiency.
