Over the following decades, as machine sizes and power continued to increase, Black Cat invested heavily in new processes and equipment to develop and produce higher-quality, stronger, more wear-resistant blades that are “through-hardened.” Other manufacturers of the same period merely increased the thickness of high-carbon steel blades to compensate for insufficient strength. This commitment to becoming an industry leader has driven the company's growth and continues to this day. As an industry leader, Black Cat currently has multiple production and logistics centers in Canada, China, and the United States, with a marketing network spanning the globe.

　　The company is headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where it has a production plant and logistics center. It also has three production bases in Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada, and in the United States.

　　In 2003, Black Cat invested heavily to strengthen R&D, design, and quality assurance, committed to developing “top-tier” cast products. These include bucket teeth, adapters, ripper teeth, bucket lips, side bar protectors, bulldozer blade corners, half-arrow blades, and a wide variety of other wear parts for various applications.

　　In 2008, Black Cat established a wholly-owned manufacturing enterprise in the Fenhu Development Zone of Suzhou, China. The factory in Suzhou, China, can produce world-class quality products for all machine models and series. The factory is adjacent to the highway and only a 2-hour drive from the Port of Shanghai, providing high-quality wear products to customers worldwide.
