7月13日，在历经15天、近1500公里的长途跋涉后，琶洲支线项目迎来了S985盾构机最后一个“重量级”部件的进场——直径7.3米，重达150吨的刀盘中心块。至此，项目新制刀盘的所有部件已全部安全顺利到场，13.61米大直径盾构吊组装工作即将全面展开。
就在两天前，伴随着两台350吨、400吨履带起重机的陆续进场、组装、验收、配合吊装，现场工人们历经一天奋战，顺利将应用于琶洲支线的超大直径盾构机主驱动翻身，为后续主驱动的组装调试、盾构顺利始发奏响了冲锋号角。
2020年是琶洲支线项目的“盾构年”，S985盾构机主驱动顺利翻身及新制刀盘部件的顺利进场，拉开了项目盾构组装、始发、掘进的序幕。
