日前，广州地铁11号线大金钟站二期施工主体围护结构施工圆满完成，使大金钟站西端盾构始发节点施工顺利提前，为大金钟站往广园新村站方向提供了盾构施工条件。
作为广州首条大环线，地铁11号线全长43.2公里，串联广州天河、白云、越秀、荔湾和海珠区，共设 32座车站，全线拟于2022年建成开通。
大金钟站为地铁11号线工程的第十二个车站，位于白云区大金钟路西侧，与富悦街垂直呈东西走向，横跨景云路与富悦街的相交路口。车站为地下三层11米岛式站台车站，全长232米，标准段宽为20.9米。地面标高20.03～22.74米，车站基坑开挖深度约为25.5～29.1米，车站主体部分覆土约为3.0～4.2米。车站共设3个出入口，2组风亭组。
据悉，一期主体围护结构施工已如期完成主体封顶，二期主体围护结构施工已经完成。
