近年来，随着城市建设步伐加快，预拌混凝土行业作为一个新兴产业，得到了迅猛发展。在我省尤其是省会石家庄，巨大的市场需求，催生了众多混凝土搅拌站，由于绿色生产管理水平普遍不高，对环境造成扬尘、噪音、废渣、污水等多种危害，尤其是扬尘污染物排放，严重影响了大气质量，成为困扰百姓生活的突出环境问题。为实现混凝土的“绿色生产”，河北益百预拌混凝土有限公司经过多方努力，投资2400万元建成了该绿色环保混凝土搅拌站。
