Lyu Huizhe, Director of the Comprehensive Planning Division of the Hebei Provincial Department of Transport, stated on the 16th that in 2020, Hebei will focus on relieving traffic pressure on the capital and basically form a 1-hour transport circle in the core Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area and a 1.5-hour transport circle between adjacent cities.

On the same day, the Information Office of the Hebei Provincial People's Government held a press conference to introduce the province's efforts to promote high-quality development of the transport sector.

Lyu Huizhe said that in 2019, Hebei adhered to relieving traffic pressure on the capital as the "key lever" and advanced the basic formation of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei transport integration pattern. The Tangshan-Langfang Expressway was connected with Tianjin, the main section of the Langfang section of the Beijing Daxing International Airport North Line Expressway was completed, and construction started on the G105 Beijing-Hebei connecting section, the G205 Tianjin-Hebei connecting section, and the G228 Cangzhou section.

At the same time, road passenger transport routes were opened from Tangshan, Langfang, and Baoding to Beijing Daxing International Airport. In 2019, the air-rail intermodal transport volume at Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport reached 1.303 million passenger trips, a year-on-year increase of 15%, of which Beijing passengers accounted for 30%. The ports of Hebei and Tianjin achieved trunk-branch linkage, with 7 new inland ports added, bringing the total to 34.

It is introduced that this year, Hebei will promote government service cooperation as "three regions as one" and improve coordination mechanisms such as transport organization. It will promote the sharing of transport operation monitoring and data resources in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and strengthen emergency response cooperation. Research will be conducted on regional standards for weighing and inspection at expressway entrances, joint supervision measures for expressway engineering quality will be issued, and road network operation support will be ensured after the cancellation of provincial boundary toll stations.

It is reported that in 2019, Hebei focused on creating "Xiong'an quality" and solidly advanced the transition of the external trunk road network from planning to construction. As one of China's first pilot units for building a strong transport nation, Xiong'an New Area fully launched efforts to create a demonstration zone for implementing the new development philosophy, a model zone for regional transport integration, and a pilot zone for a modern comprehensive transport system.

In 2020, Hebei will ensure the completion and opening of the Jin-Shi Expressway and the G230 Beijing-Hebei connecting section, and the main sections of the Beijing-Xiong'an Expressway, the new Rongwu Expressway, the first phase of the Jingde Expressway, and the Rongyi Line and Anda Line in Xiong'an New Area will be completed.
