Recently, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Transportation and Shanghai Kingwing General Aviation Co., Ltd. (Kingwing) held a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony, marking the official launch of the construction of an air emergency rescue service system for transportation in Guizhou.

Zhang Zhengyu, Deputy Director of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Transportation, stated that the transportation emergency rescue system is a key link in the highway infrastructure network. Safe, timely, and efficient emergency rescue can not only minimize the loss of life and property of the people, but also effectively support the safe development of transportation in Guizhou. Helicopter emergency rescue has the advantages of fast response, strong maneuverability, wide rescue coverage, and good rescue results, and can effectively reduce casualty rates when emergency traffic accidents occur.

In the future, temporary helicopter takeoff and landing rescue points will be pre-designated for rescue on expressways, national highways, provincial highways, scenic areas, and disaster-prone areas throughout Guizhou, and the construction of an alternate transportation landing network will be gradually improved, making full use of helicopters to serve transportation safety emergencies and public travel.
