The reporter learned from Jinan Urban Construction Group that the Jinan Yellow River Tunnel Project plans to complete the excavation of the north bank working shaft foundation pit this year, complete 60% of the main structure, and complete factory acceptance of shield machine manufacturing. In June, the design of the south bank working shaft and the foundation pit of the combined construction section will be completed, and construction on the south bank will start. At the same time, relevant departments will be coordinated to complete the first-phase land acquisition and demolition on the south bank as well as the relocation and modification of pipelines and the preparation of traffic diversion plans.
The Qilu Yellow River Bridge (Section II) plans to complete temporary land acquisition and relocation this year, handle construction procedures with the Yellow River Conservancy Commission, set up temporary roads and trestle bridges within the embankment, and carry out pile foundation construction for the main spans (north and south) of the main bridge. It will actively advance the construction of pile caps for the main spans (north and south) of the main bridge, the construction of pier shafts for the main spans (north and south) of the main bridge, and the erection of temporary piers and the south side-span assembly platform.
The Fenghuang Yellow River Bridge plans to complete this year the bored cast-in-place pile construction, pile cap construction, substructure construction of piers (abutments), roadbed engineering (culverts and fill) construction, and the No. 0 block construction of the cantilever continuous beam crossing the South-to-North Water Diversion Project in Section I; it plans to complete the construction of the camp and laboratory, all test pile construction, the construction of the steel reinforcement processing plant and concrete mixing station, the construction of temporary roads, trestle bridges and steel platforms, and the construction of some bored piles and pile caps in Section II.
According to requirements, last year the Jinan Yellow River Tunnel, Qilu Yellow River Bridge, Fenghuang Yellow River Bridge, and the Jinan–Leling Expressway South Extension Project all broke ground. It is understood that the project plan for the Jinan Yellow River Highway Bridge reconstruction and expansion project has been basically determined and is also planned to start within this year. This year, as the first year of construction of the Jinan New and Old Growth Drivers Conversion Pilot Zone, the city will make every effort to accelerate the construction of the pilot zone. The "three bridges and one tunnel" and the "Jile Expressway South Extension Project" undertaken by the group are pioneering and landmark projects for Jinan's implementation of northward cross-river development. Next, quality will be strictly controlled, construction will be carried out safely, and the implementation of all tasks will be advanced.
