On the eve of the Lunar New Year, the "Hainan Wenchang Zhongnan Reservoir Emergency Reinforcement Project" undertaken by PowerChina Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd. was successfully completed. Led by the Shanghai Jintai SC40 dual-wheel mixing drilling rig, the project, after 50 days of continuous effort, successfully completed 452 panels of equal-thickness cement-soil mixing walls, 700mm thick and 9.5-15m deep. Acceptance results showed that the wall quality formed by the SC40 fully met the design requirements, and the owner highly praised the Jintai on-site service team and the equipment's construction efficiency. 　　It is understood that the dam body to be reinforced in this project has a total length of more than 3,000 meters, and the soil quality of the original dam body is poor. If traditional anti-seepage reinforcement techniques were used, the project schedule could not be met, and the construction complexity would also increase. After comprehensive evaluation, the owner decided to adopt the new "equal-thickness cement-soil mixing wall" technology of the Shanghai Jintai SC40 dual-wheel mixing drilling rig to ensure project efficiency and quality. 　　The Shanghai Jintai SC40 hydraulic milling and mixing drilling rig combines hydraulic trench cutter technology with deep mixing technology. It is easy to move, has good stability, and has strong formation penetration capability. It can perform milling and mixing construction under strongly weathered or moderately weathered formation conditions such as mudstone, sandstone, pebbles, and iron-plate sand, with high wall-forming efficiency. The excellent performance of the SC40 ensured the smooth progress of the Wenchang Zhongnan Reservoir risk-elimination and reinforcement project.
　　To ensure the progress and quality of the project, the Hainan Provincial Department of Water Affairs and the Wenchang Municipal Water Affairs Bureau specially organized a joint supervision working group composed of relevant departments such as design, construction, and supervision, which went deep into the site many times to supervise and promote the project construction work.

While people were still immersed in the joy of the Spring Festival, Shanghai Jintai's service personnel and the SC40 had already moved from Wenchang to the Baisha Xinkai Reservoir project, adding further support to Hainan Province's new round of water conservancy construction.
