On February 5, Fuzhou launched construction on 245 major projects spanning industrial development, infrastructure, and social welfare, with a total investment of 94.425 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 40.485 billion yuan.
Among the projects launched this time, 43 have a total investment of over 500 million yuan, including 25 industrial projects. Representative projects include the upgrading and renovation of Phase II standard factory buildings in Jinshan Industrial Zone (Feike Town), the Tongcheng Youfu new energy vehicle leasing project, the new environmentally friendly building materials and home furnishing project, Phase II of the Jianjiang Town offshore ranch project, and Phase II of the Fuzhou Huawei Highway Port Logistics Park.
A total of 57 projects were launched by various counties (cities and districts), including Fuzhou Kaizhi School, Shenghui Yuanzhong Logistics Park, the Fujian tourism and cultural industry project, the Meixi section improvement project of the Minjiang River flood control works in Minqing County, and the Junyuan new building materials project.
In addition, as the first anniversary of the start of construction of Binhai New City approaches, 15 projects in Binhai New City were launched in a centralized manner, with a total investment of 5.167 billion yuan. At present, Fuzhou Binhai New City has planned and generated 136 key projects with a total investment of approximately 230 billion yuan, covering road traffic, port terminals, education and medical care, and high-tech industries. At the same time, a preliminary plan has been made for a third batch of 26 key projects, covering high-tech industries, public supporting facilities, and ecological development.
