The Fuzhou-Xiamen High-Speed Railway passenger dedicated line will see the construction of Quangang Station and Quanzhou South Station in our city, and its progress has attracted much attention. The reporter learned from the project construction headquarters of the Quangang section of the Fuzhou-Xiamen passenger dedicated line that the project is progressing encouragingly. As of January 15, construction has started at six works: the portal of Haiwei Tunnel, the spoil disposal site of Shantousi Tunnel, the Xiangqin subgrade section, the exit of Xiba Tunnel, Longquan Grand Bridge, and the north side of Yifeng West Road Grand Bridge.

　　In Guxian Village, Qianhuang Town, Quangang District, by the Batou Stream, the only main road requires detours through neighboring villages at both ends to be reached. Underdeveloped transport has long constrained the village's development. The villagers never expected that an inconspicuous low hill in the village would become the site of a high-speed railway station building, with a station-front avenue to lead directly to the station in the future. “At present, several houses near the hill have been set out, and demolition and relocation work is expected to begin soon,” a relevant person from the Qianhuang Town government told the reporter.

　　The reporter saw that the Quangang Station building of the Fuzhou-Xiamen High-Speed Railway passenger dedicated line is located at the border between Guxian Village and Qingcuo Natural Village of Tianhu Village, Nanpu Town. Looking out from the hill, not far away is the landmark scenic spot of Quangang District——the Yuhu Chaotian Stone Scenic Area (located in Xialu Village, Tuling Town). Once completed, Quangang Station will undoubtedly radiate well to Qianhuang Town, Nanpu Town, Tuling Town, Jieshan Town and other places, driving urban development.

　　The person in charge of the project construction headquarters of the Quangang section of the Fuzhou-Xiamen passenger dedicated line introduced that Quangang District attaches great importance to the construction of the Fuzhou-Xiamen passenger dedicated line, plans early, and controls the approval of construction of structures within the line range to resolutely curb rushed construction; it works backward from the demolition and relocation deadlines, concentrating efforts on the key land acquisition and demolition nodes that affect the progress of the entire line (including key nodes such as bridges, tunnels and temporary land use). To do a good job in overall planning, command and coordination, each town (subdistrict) and construction unit must submit weekly progress and matters requiring coordination in written form every Friday; the headquarters office coordinates according to project nodes and urgency, strengthens communication and alignment among the owner unit, construction unit and demolition unit, jointly discusses solutions to problems, and forms a good interactive and cooperative relationship.

　　As of January 15, the main line of the Quangang section of the Fuzhou-Xiamen High-Speed Railway occupies 1,000.11 mu of permanent land, of which 579.857 mu has been surveyed and 238.252 mu handed over; temporary land is currently counted at 63.401 mu, of which 63.401 mu has been surveyed and 26.101 mu handed over; the construction access road is currently counted at 8,852 meters, of which 2,715 meters has been cleared and 2,640 meters delivered for use, totaling 17.625 mu; graves involved in relocation are currently counted at 338, of which 146 have been relocated; houses involved in relocation total 333 buildings, of which 289 have been numbered, 198 measured, 198 appraised and 41 contracted.
