Recently, the Heda (Hegang-Dalian) Expressway in Jilin Province, surveyed and designed by CCCC Highway Consultants Co., Ltd., won the “First Prize for Excellent Engineering Survey and Design in Jilin Province for 2016-2017”.
The Xiaogouling (Heilongjiang-Jilin border) to Fusong section of the Heda Expressway has a total length of 232.3 kilometers, adopting the construction standard of a two-way four-lane expressway with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour.
The project started construction in early 2014 and was completed and opened to traffic in October 2016. During the survey, design, and construction of the project, the concept of green, circular, and low-carbon construction was fully implemented, with resource conservation and environmental protection as the guiding principles, striving to build a green, circular, and low-carbon highway. It was designated by the Ministry of Transport as a “Resource Conservation and Recycling Technology Demonstration Project” and a “Green Circular Low-Carbon Highway Thematic Project”, becoming the first “dual demonstration” project for newly built highways in China's seasonal frozen regions in the field of highway transportation construction.
