On the 12th, the first pile foundation of the main bridge of the Nansi Lake Grand Bridge, a key project of the Zaozhuang-Heze Expressway, was successfully poured, marking the full-scale construction of the main bridge, which is expected to be completed by 2020.
From 3 PM on the 12th to 4:50 AM on the 13th, after 14 hours of intense and busy work, pile No. 137#-12, with a diameter of 2m and a designed length of 77.5m, was successfully poured.
The main bridge of the Nansi Lake Grand Bridge is a prestressed concrete double-tower cable-stayed bridge and is the controlling project of the Zaozhuang-Heze Expressway. The main bridge mostly involves pile foundations in karst areas. To ensure the successful implementation of the first pile foundation of pier 137# of the main bridge, the project department organized multiple scheme discussion meetings to optimize the construction plan. From drilling to completion, the first pile foundation faced challenges such as karst cave slurry loss, backfilling, and sealing, which have always been difficult points in karst pile foundation construction control. After overcoming more than 9 instances of karst cave slurry loss, the pouring was finally completed.
The successful completion of the pile foundation pouring opened the curtain for the full-scale construction of the main bridge of the Nansi Lake Grand Bridge and provided valuable experience for subsequent pile foundation pouring construction.
Zhu Zhaotong, deputy manager of the Zaozhuang-Heze Expressway general contracting project department of Shandong Luqiao Group Co., Ltd., stated that the Nansi Lake Grand Bridge mainly crosses the Baima River, the main channel of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal, and the west channel of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal, with a total length of 9,889 meters. It will be the largest lake-crossing bridge in Shandong. Among them, the main channel bridge of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal is currently undergoing pile foundation and substructure construction. The double-tower cable-stayed bridge has a main span of 210 meters and a navigable clearance of 7 meters, ensuring normal navigation for vessels.
The main bridge of the Nansi Lake Grand Bridge is the controlling project of the Zaozhuang-Heze Expressway. After the completion of the first pile foundation pouring, the project progress will be steadily advanced, and the main bridge project is expected to be completed in March 2020.
The Zaozhuang-Heze lake-crossing expressway has been under construction since the end of 2016, with two grand bridges set up along the entire line: the Nansi Lake Grand Bridge and the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal Main Channel Bridge. The Zaozhuang-Heze Expressway is planned to be fully completed and open to traffic in April 2020, ending Weishan's history of having no expressway and enabling Jining to achieve the excellent transportation situation of "expressways in every county".
