It is reported that in 2017, Fujian Province completed construction investment of 32.7 billion yuan in expressways, completed 6 projects (sections) totaling 208 kilometers, and the province's expressway mileage open to traffic reached 5,228 kilometers. In 2018, Fujian will start construction on 4 projects: the Ningde-Gutian Expressway, the Nanjing section of the Zhangwu Yongding-Nanjing Expressway, the Gaotou-Hulei section of the Zhangwu Yongding-Shanghang Expressway, and the Quannan Yongchun Interchange-Tangcheng Hub expansion project, and continue construction on 28 projects totaling 967 kilometers.
