On January 10, the 100-meter continuous cast-in-place beam of the Yangjiayuanzi Middle Bridge at the Longgang Interchange of the Tongrong Expressway, constructed by the Fourth Company of China Railway 22nd Bureau Group, was completed, marking the early achievement of the company's first cast-in-place beam construction milestone.

It is reported that the Tongdarong Expressway is Chongqing's first national green highway construction demonstration project, and is also the seventh link line in the "Three Rings, Twelve Rays, Seven Link Lines" of the Chongqing Expressway Network Plan. It was approved for construction by the Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission in July 2016. The project route has a total length of 139.112 kilometers. The entire line has 12 interchanges, 3 service areas, 1 parking area, 60 bridges, and 5 tunnels. Among them, the Dazu section is about 28 kilometers long, passing through four towns and sub-districts: Zhong'ao, Longgang, Sanqu, and Longshi. It has the Longgang Interchange, Shizhuanshan Interchange, Sanqu Hub Interchange, and Longgang Service Area. The main line has 90 passages and culverts, 7 overpasses, and 1 separated interchange bridge. About 3,000 mu of land has been acquired, with an estimated total investment of 2.5 billion yuan. It is expected to be officially completed and put into use in 2019.
