After China Railway 21st Bureau Group Co., Ltd. won the bid for Section GNZQ-8 of the Guangxi segment of the Guiyang-Nanning Railway, the Third Company swiftly organized personnel to mobilize on December 6 and pressed ahead with preliminary planning work.
According to the arrangements of the Group Company, the Guinan Railway project is managed on behalf of the Group by a project department established by the Third Company, with three sub-divisions under it. Among them, Sub-divisions 1 and 3 are organized for construction by the Third Company, while Sub-division 2 is mobilized by the Road and Bridge Company. According to the division of tasks, Sub-divisions 1 and 3 undertake civil engineering works, and Sub-division 2 is mainly responsible for girder fabrication and construction.
The newly built Guiyang-Nanning High-Speed Railway is located in southeastern Guizhou Province and northwestern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Starting from Guiyang in the north, it runs south through Longli, Duyun, Dushan, Libo and Guangxi's Huanjiang, Jinchengjiang and other places, ending in Nanning. It is a major rapid passenger transport corridor from the Sichuan-Chongqing-Guizhou region and the northwest to Nanning, the Beibu Gulf, western Guangdong and Hainan. Section GNZQ-8 of the pre-station works of the Guangxi segment of the Guinan Railway has a main line length of 28.743 km. Its main works include: demolition and land acquisition, subgrade, bridges and culverts, tunnels, track, signal integrated grounding, station buildings and ancillary works, large temporary facilities and transitional works. It is a high-speed railway with a design operating speed of 350 km/h.
