On the afternoon of December 13, the 6th Second Chairman Meeting of the International Large Diameter Engineering Well (Pile) Association was successfully held at the Sheraton Hotel in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province! The meeting was chaired by Mr. Wang Huirong, Chairman of Zhongrui Heavy Technology, the chairman unit of the International Large Diameter Engineering Well (Pile) Association. Mr. Zhang Liangfu, General Manager of Zhongrui Heavy Technology, and Mr. Zhao Meixiang, Deputy General Manager, attended the meeting. The meeting discussed and approved the report on the association's work and expenditure for 2017, and unanimously approved the 2018 work plan and the decision to convene the International Large Diameter Engineering Well (Pile) Association Summit in due course.
At the meeting, Mr. Wang Huirong, Chairman of the Association, put forward several requirements for the association's work in the new year: 1. Effectively integrate association resources and strengthen technological innovation; 2. Expand the association's functions and run the "Association Journal" well; 3. Carry out professional technical consulting for member units and provide a good service platform. He hoped that the association would strengthen its services, unite people, and accelerate the pace of industry development. At the same time, on behalf of the association, Chairman Wang expressed sincere gratitude to Anhui Jinlin Road and Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd., based in Zhongshan, for its strong support of this meeting!
The meeting also specially invited Mr. Hou Jinlong, former Vice President of China Communications Construction Group, to give a special academic report on "Research on System Integration of Medium and Long Span Bridge Construction Technology". With his rich experience in bridge construction, Mr. Hou used a large amount of detailed data, rich and vivid cases, and precise statistical records to impromptu answer various questions raised by the industry elites present. The atmosphere was lively and sparks flew, demonstrating the power of collective wisdom while also highlighting the association's goal of advancing with the times and representing and promoting the development of cutting-edge technology in the industry!
