At 10 a.m. on November 2, accompanied by festive firecrackers and the roar of machinery, subgrade filling construction officially began at Shuanggou Station Yard, Section 2 of the Xuyan Railway undertaken by Sinohydro Bureau 4, marking a new stage in the subgrade construction at Shuanggou Station.

The subgrade filling at Shuanggou Station Yard consists of three parts: 51,493 m3 of crushed stone cushion, 583,755 m3 of Group AB material, and 21,673 m3 of graded crushed stone. Due to the huge filling volume and the tight construction schedule, the command headquarters and division leaders attached great importance to the work. First, they held a subgrade filling construction promotion meeting to clarify the responsibilities of management personnel at all levels, vigorously grasp preliminary construction preparations, and strongly advance construction production. Second, in accordance with Subei Company's “three highs and one comprehensive” requirements, they carried out construction organization reasonably and efficiently, optimized the deployment of personnel and machinery, and standardized on-site construction operations. Third, while ensuring the construction schedule, they monitored the entry of subgrade raw materials and the quality of filling compaction around the clock. Fourth, they strictly implemented relevant construction specifications and vigorously grasped civilized on-site construction in order to complete the filling task with guaranteed quality and quantity.

Since entering the Shuanggou Station section under Division 1, all employees have not waited or relied on others. They organized scientifically, seized on-site preparation work, and overcame various difficulties such as changes in the construction plan and the great difficulty of land acquisition and demolition. By sorting out the process flow, operating points, and process standards of subgrade construction operations and strengthening on-site guidance and other measures, they actively created favorable conditions for subsequent construction and ensured the successful completion of the Shuanggou Station construction task within the construction period.
