On July 21, the Longnan Municipal Development and Reform Commission announced that the feasibility study report for the Wudu-Jiuzhaigou Expressway has been approved by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and full-scale construction is now imminent.

It is understood that the Wudu-Jiuzhaigou Expressway starts at Weizigou in Liangshui Town, Wudu District, Longnan City, connecting with the Chengdu-Wudu Expressway and the Lanzhou-Haikou Expressway. Using the Lanzhou-Haikou Expressway (G75) up to Juzigan in Wudu District as the starting point of the newly built section, the route passes through Linjiang, Laoyemiao, Fanchang, Wenxian County, Dongyukou, and Shijiba, and ends at Qinglong Bridge (the Gansu-Sichuan border), connecting with the Mianyang-Jiuzhaigou section of the Pingliang-Mianyang Expressway (G8513) planned by Sichuan Province. The total route length is 130.20 kilometers, of which 29.60 kilometers utilize the existing Lanzhou-Haikou Expressway (G75), and 100.60 kilometers are newly built for this project. The entire line is constructed to a two-way, four-lane expressway standard with a design speed of 80 km/h, an estimated total investment of 17.961 billion yuan, and a construction period of 5 years.
