With the rapid development of the industry and technological progress, the formulation of various industry standards has become an important task that urgently needs to adapt to the requirements of the situation. It is precisely against this background that on July 19, the Subcommittee on Foundation Construction Equipment of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Construction Machinery and Equipment, in accordance with the spirit of the "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Issuing the 2015 Third Batch of Industry Standard Formulation and Revision Plan" (MIIT General Office Science [2015] No. 115), held in Ruian, Zhejiang, the compilation meeting for the machinery industry standard "Construction Machinery and Equipment — Hydraulic Pile Hammer." Leaders of the Subcommittee on Foundation Construction Equipment of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Construction and Equipment and all members of the Hydraulic Pile Hammer Compilation Working Group attended the meeting.
　　The hydraulic pile hammer is an important equipment technology in deep foundation engineering. With the continuous expansion of foundation engineering construction, the application of hydraulic pile hammers has become increasingly widespread. Therefore, promptly issuing this technical standard has become an urgent task for the industry. The unit responsible for drafting the standard is Zhejiang Yong'an Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., a specialized enterprise in China integrating design, research and development, manufacturing, sales, and leasing services for hydraulic vibratory hammers and hydraulic pile hammer series products. Founded in 1986, the company has seen its performance rise year after year for more than 30 years, and its visibility and influence in the global industry have greatly increased. It has now developed into a leading backbone enterprise in China's pile engineering machinery industry; its products are widely used in foundation engineering fields such as bridges, offshore wind power, and ports and wharves. At the meeting, General Manager Lin Deng of Zhejiang Yong'an Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. first delivered congratulatory remarks, extending a warm welcome to the guests of the editorial committee. Subsequently, Researcher Li Jing, Secretary-General of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Construction Machinery and Equipment, and Researcher Guo Chuanxin, Secretary-General of the Pile Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Society, delivered speeches at the meeting. Then, the meeting proceeded with a report on the compilation of the "Construction Machinery and Equipment — Hydraulic Pile Hammer" standard, in which the chief editor of the standard carefully reported the compilation status of the standard to the attendees in detail.
　　According to reports, after receiving the compilation task, Zhejiang Yong'an Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. carried out a great deal of work. It immediately established a standard drafting working group led by General Manager Lin Deng, industry leader and expert Guo Chuanxin, and others; researched and formulated a work plan for standard compilation; and carried out standard formulation work in accordance with the requirements for the formulation and revision of construction industry standards. It conducted in-depth analysis of domestic and foreign standards related to this equipment. At the same time, it consulted a large number of standards used by domestic and foreign competitors' products in the same industry. On the basis of repeated research, analysis, and improvement to form the initial draft of the standard, the company organized relevant experts to carefully revise the initial draft of the standard, and ultimately formed the draft for comments by the end of May this year as planned. During the compilation process, emphasis was placed on combining the development of hydraulic pile hammers at home and abroad, actual application conditions, and continuous testing and verification results, so as to ensure the advanced nature, practicality, and economy of the technical indicators.
　　When the meeting entered the review stage, the attending leaders, experts, and all members of the editorial committee, with a rigorous spirit of high responsibility toward the industry, carefully studied and discussed the draft for comments item by item, and put forward valuable opinions based on their own practical work experience, laying a solid foundation of collective wisdom for further improving the standard and ultimately finalizing it for submission for review.
