At 11:18 on June 4, the first pile foundation of Panjing Bridge of the Dachao Expressway project undertaken by China Railway Seventh Group was successfully drilled, marking the official start of the main bridge construction of the project department and laying a solid foundation for the next stage of construction.
The TJ15 section of the Dabu-Chaozhou Expressway, constructed by the Wuhan Company of China Railway Seventh Group, is located in Fenglang Town, Dabu County, with a total length of 4.66 km. The project includes 1.52657 million cubic meters of roadbed excavation, 1.06708 million cubic meters of fill, 4 large bridges totaling 1345.6 m, 6 slab culverts, 2 slab culvert passages, and 372 precast beams. This project is a mountainous expressway with complex terrain, a large amount of access road construction, many deep cuts and high fill sections, with the deepest cut being a 7-level slope of 64.6 m, the highest fill being a 5-level slope of 37.11 m, and the maximum pier height of 67 m, including 23 thin-walled hollow piers.
Panjing Bridge is one of the four main bridges in the project. To meet the requirements of Guangdong Province's "Double Standard Management" and the owner Dachao Company, the project department carefully organized and arranged, always adhering to the policy of "scientific management, standardized operation, and refined advancement", implementing the first-piece engineering sample system to ensure the safe and orderly construction of the first piece. Before the drilling of the pile foundation, technical backbones, department heads, experienced frontline personnel, and cooperative team leaders were promptly organized to hold multiple seminars, conducting in-depth research on each construction process from different angles, carefully analyzing, scientifically selecting construction techniques, reasonably compiling construction plans, and making various preparations in advance, ensuring the smooth drilling of the first pile foundation.
It is reported that the Dachao Expressway is expected to be completed in 2019, which will promote the economic development of northeastern Guangdong, promote the inland expansion of the Chaozhou Port hinterland, and serve as a new sea outlet for southern Jiangxi, northwestern Fujian, and northeastern Guangdong, better serving local economic development.
