目前。东京大尺寸H型钢价格为7.2-7.3万日元/吨(632-640美元/吨)，大阪市场价格为7.4-7.5万日元/吨，均与上月持平，但较1月底上涨了1000日元/吨。
分销商一直试图将钢厂上调价格带来的成本上升转嫁给用户，但由于前期采购充足，1月末以来用户的询盘减少。不过，目前废钢价格迅速上涨，其他原料价格亦攀升，钢厂很快可能再次提价，因此分销商正寻求用户接受涨价。
贸易商表示，一些大型分销商已酝酿在3月底之前将H型钢价格提高2000-3000日元/吨至7.5万日元/吨。目前H型钢库存水平较低，供应紧张的状况将会持续。
新日铁住金子公司Tokiwakai集团1月末H型钢库存较12月底增长5%至18.57万吨，但仍处于相对较低水平。
