Since its establishment, China Railway PowerChina Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has invested more than 30 million yuan and spent 2 months building a shield tunneling assembly workshop 30 meters high, 31 meters wide, and 202 meters long, to meet the production needs of assembling 5 shield tunneling machines at the same time. The manufacture of the first shield tunneling machine, weighing more than 500 tons and more than 80 meters long, from material procurement and equipment production to final assembly and acceptance, took 3 months, creating an admirable central SOE speed.
