On December 20, the China Association of Construction Enterprise Management held the "2016 Science and Technology Awards Ceremony" in Beijing. Leaders attending the conference included Cao Yushu, President of the China Association of Construction Enterprise Management; Li Qingxu, Vice President and Director of the Science and Technology Committee; Luan Decheng, Vice President and Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Committee; Han Yibao, Vice President and Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Committee; Shang Runtao, Secretary-General; Liu Hui, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Committee and Vice President and Chief Engineer of China Railway Group Limited; Lei Shengxiang, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Committee and Chief Engineer of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited; Zong Dunfeng, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Committee and Chief Engineer of Power Construction Corporation of China; Liu Qingnian, President of the Tianjin Construction Industry Association; and Luan Yejun, Deputy Secretary-General. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Li Qingxu, Vice President, and was attended by more than 470 representatives from various industries, local associations, and engineering construction enterprises.
　　Recommended by the China Metallurgical Construction Association, the project "Research, Development and Application of Complete Sets of Technology and Equipment for Full-Casing Cast-in-Place Piles, Secant Piles and Rock-Socketed Piles," jointly developed by Xuzhou Dun'an Heavy Industry Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the Central Research Institute of Building and Construction Co., Ltd. of MCC Group, Kunming Jiecheng Pile Engineering Co., Ltd., and Beijing Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., won the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievement of the 2015 Science and Technology Awards of the China Association of Construction Enterprise Management. 　　The China Association of Construction Enterprise Management is an organization directly affiliated with the National Development and Reform Commission. The association currently has more than 2,900 member enterprises, basically covering more than 80% of the special-grade and first-grade enterprises in the industry, and the output value of member enterprises accounts for more than 80% of the total output value of the industry. The "First Prize for Innovation Achievement" demonstrates the new height achieved by Xuzhou Dun'an Heavy Industry in technological innovation.
　　Dun'an Heavy Industry has strong technical research and development and manufacturing capabilities. Relying on the locational advantages of Xuzhou's construction machinery industry, and through long-term, in-depth technical cooperation with well-known universities, research institutes, and construction enterprises, it has developed full-casing full-slewing drilling rigs and construction methods with completely independent intellectual property rights, and has obtained more than 60 national patents. The full-casing full-slewing drilling rig series currently produced has become an "indestructible" construction tool for complex strata and special environments.
