The chemical consolidation method mainly uses solidifying materials such as cement to blend with and solidify the original soil layer, thereby enhancing its impermeability. During application, the cement mix ratio must be strictly tested, and the chemical reaction between cement and the soil layer must be controlled to ensure the effectiveness of the project.
  (1) When used for grouting, the grout must be spread evenly in the soft soil to prevent an unbalanced strength state during reaction; otherwise, partial collapse or subsidence may occur during the construction of water conservancy projects.
  (2) When using the mixing method, the mixing machinery must meet the depth requirements to ensure that mixing acts throughout the entire foundation pit, while the timing must be effectively controlled to ensure thorough and uniform mixing.
  (3) During high-pressure jetting, the drilling depth must meet the standard to prevent the grouting pipe, after being placed in the borehole, from being ejected from the borehole by the high-pressure fluid flow and causing casualties. Pressure adjustment must be attended to during construction.
