Recently, the 7th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum was officially held in Macau. Zhang Xiangchen, Deputy Representative for International Trade Negotiations of China's Ministry of Commerce, Leong Vai Tac, Secretary for Finance of the Macau Special Administrative Region Government, and Fang Qiuchen, Chairman of the China International Contractors Association, together with over 1,400 participants from more than 60 countries and regions attended the forum. With the theme of "Innovative Industry-Finance Cooperation for Infrastructure Development," the forum explored topics such as the "Belt and Road" construction and international production capacity cooperation, and the opportunities brought by industry-finance innovation cooperation under global regional economic integration for international infrastructure cooperation.

Prior to the opening of the forum, Volvo Construction Equipment Investment (China) Co., Ltd. invited leaders of the China International Contractors Association, the UK Minister of State for Transport, and 70 client representatives from international contracting enterprises to gather and discuss how Volvo Construction Equipment can assist Chinese international engineering contractors in implementing the "Belt and Road" strategy. Mr. Fang Qiuchen, Chairman of the China International Contractors Association, and Mr. Cen Jiahui, President of Volvo Construction Equipment China, delivered speeches at the meeting.

Mr. Fang Qiuchen highly praised the long-term cooperation between Volvo Construction Equipment and the China International Contractors Association, and expressed the hope to use this platform to build a good cooperation platform between Volvo Construction Equipment and Chinese international engineering contractors.

In his subsequent speech, Mr. Cen Jiahui thanked Chairman Fang Qiuchen for his recognition. He pointed out that international infrastructure investment and construction has become an important part of implementing the "Going Global" and "Belt and Road" strategies, playing an increasingly important role in promoting national economic development and expanding opening-up.
