① When the embankment slope height is ≤5 m, combined grass and shrub protection is adopted, with ryegrass and bentgrass as grass species and amorpha fruticosa as shrubs, planted at a density of one plant per 2 square meters; the earth shoulder adopts three-dimensional geomat + grass planting protection, and the berm and slope are protected together.
② When the embankment slope height is >5 m, arched skeleton protection is adopted; the top 2 m range and the earth shoulder adopt three-dimensional geomat + grass planting protection; within the arch grids, combined grass and shrub protection is adopted, with a shrub planting density of 3–4 plants per grid cell. The grass species are ryegrass and bentgrass, and the shrub is amorpha fruticosa.
③ For gully sections where the toe of the fill slope is susceptible to water scouring, M7.5 mortar rubble protection is adopted within a 1.5 m height range at the slope toe.
