A slight negligence during construction can easily cause pile breakage and various other complex quality defects, affecting the integrity of the pile body and the bearing capacity of the pile, thereby directly affecting the safety of the superstructure.

On May 26, testing personnel from the Dandong Quality and Safety Office went to Aiyang and used the sonic transmission method to test the abutment pile foundations of Aiyang West Bridge. The on-site construction personnel actively cooperated with the testing work. The test showed that the integrity of the pile foundations met the specification standards, and construction of the next process could proceed.
