01. At the site where the drilling rig is used, obstacles such as stones at and around the hole position shall be cleared in accordance with the requirements of the drilling rig manual.
02. The distance from the work site to the power transformer or main power supply line shall be within 200 m, and the voltage at startup shall not exceed 10% of the rated voltage.
03. The motor and control box shall have good grounding devices.
04. Before installation, check and confirm that the drill pipe and all components are free of deformation; after installation, the allowable deviation between the center lines of the drill pipe and the power head is 1% of the total length.
05. After installation, the power supply frequency shall match the pointer on the frequency changeover switch in the control box; if they differ, the frequency changeover switch shall be used to switch.
06. The drilling rig shall be placed stably and firmly on solid ground; for truck-mounted rigs, the outriggers shall be set up and the tires raised; the mast shall be adjusted to stay vertical using automatic fine adjustment or a plumb bob.
07. Before startup, place the operating lever in the neutral position. After startup, carry out a no-load running test and check that the instruments, temperature, sound, braking and other items are normal before operation.
08. When drilling, first lower the drill pipe slowly so that the drill bit is aligned with the hole position; when the ammeter pointer shifts to the no-load state, drilling can begin. During drilling, when the ammeter exceeds the rated current, the lowering speed shall be reduced.
09. If the drill gets stuck during drilling, immediately cut off the power and stop lowering. Do not force a restart before the cause is identified.
10. During operation, when the rotation direction of the drill pipe needs to be changed, wait until the drill pipe has completely stopped rotating.
11. In the event of a power outage during operation, place all controllers in the zero position, cut off the power, and promptly pull the drill pipe completely out of the hole so that the drill bit touches the ground.
12. When the drilling rig is running, prevent the cable from being entangled in the drill pipe; a dedicated person must be assigned to watch.
13. During drilling, it is strictly prohibited to remove soil from the spiral blades by hand. If the spiral is found to be loose, stop the machine immediately and continue operation only after tightening.
14. After operation, lift the drill pipe and drill bit completely out of the hole, first remove the soil from the drill pipe and spiral blades, then lower the drill bit to contact the ground, apply all brakes, place the operating lever in the neutral position, and cut off the power.
15. When the wear of the drill bit reaches 20 mm, it shall be replaced.
