On May 12, at the equipment commissioning site of Sunward Industrial City, the lifting of the rotary drilling rig mast was underway. The cranes involved in this lifting task were the QUY160 lattice-boom crawler crane, SWTC50 telescopic-boom crawler crane, and SWQY50 truck crane, all independently developed and produced by Sunward.
       The main crane for this lifting task was the QUY160, which is currently the largest crane produced by Sunward, with a maximum lifting capacity of 160 tons and a maximum main boom length of 82 meters. It is well favored by customers for its superior lifting performance and controllability. The SWTC50, participating as an auxiliary crane, is a new type of crane that combines the features of truck cranes and crawler cranes. It requires minimal working space, needs no disassembly or assembly, can work on all-weather road surfaces, and can travel with load. This telescopic-boom crawler crane is a major product of the company's commitment to differentiation.
      During the process of slowly lifting the mast until it is upright, sometimes the crane needs to move its position accordingly. The load-travel feature of crawler cranes exactly meets this kind of lifting work. In the past, when using truck cranes to lift the mast, if a position change was needed, the truck crane had to unload, retract its outriggers, move to the designated position, re-extend the outriggers, and then continue lifting. Now, with crawler cranes, it can directly travel with load, which greatly saves the entire lifting time and improves work efficiency. 


       After about half an hour, the mast installation was completed, and the entire lifting process was very smooth. According to on-site personnel, since using the cranes independently developed by Sunward to lift the mast, it has saved half the time compared to renting cranes in the past, and it is very convenient and fast. Such lifting work has been completed many times.
