Construction Breaks Ground on Power Transmission Project for YUWA Hydropower Station in Baishui River, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan

       Recently, the 110 kV power transmission project for the YUWA Hydropower Station in Baishui River, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan, contracted by Sichuan Electric Power Design & Consulting Co., Ltd., officially broke ground. The YUWA Hydropower Station is invested in and constructed by PowerChina, and once completed, this project will meet the station's power transmission needs.
       The project is located in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It will construct a new single-circuit 110 kV line of approximately 17 kilometers from the YUWA 110 kV outgoing gantry to the Heihetang 110 kV substation, including supporting OPGW and system communication engineering, as well as line protection engineering.
       As of press time, excavation has begun on 6 foundation pits for the project, with the deepest pit reaching 4 meters. Foundation rebar will also be delivered to the site from Chengdu in the coming days, and the first foundation concrete pouring is expected to begin on the 25th of this month.
