(1) Formulate and improve safety measures

         Before commencement, organize relevant personnel to prepare an implementable safety construction organization design, complete overall safety planning, and coordinate cross-operation construction interference issues. For key operations such as cutoff wall hole drilling and underwater concrete pouring, prepare and implement special safety measure designs to ensure construction safety.

      (2) Construction flood control and safe flood season passage

        In conjunction with the layout of permanent drainage facilities, plan temporary drainage measures inside and outside the construction area. Flood control in the construction area adopts a combination of interception, cutoff, and drainage, using interception ditches combined with drainage ditches, culverts, and culvert pipes for water diversion, leading water flow away from the construction surface. During the flood season, organize flood control and emergency rescue teams and assign dedicated personnel for 24-hour flood control duty.

      (3) Labor protection

        Carry out labor protection work well. For on-site workers, according to the types and characteristics of operations and in accordance with the regulations of the labor protection department, provide corresponding labor protection supplies, including safety helmets, water shoes, insulated shoes, raincoats, hand lamps, dust masks, safety ropes (belts), etc. Various allowances will also be issued to workers in accordance with relevant labor protection regulations.

       (4) Construction lighting

         Carry out lighting safety work well. We will, in accordance with the provisions of this contract, set up sufficient lighting systems in each construction operation area, construction roads, and office and living areas.

      (5) Storage and transportation of explosives, detonators, and fuel

        The storage and transportation methods of explosive materials such as explosives and detonators strictly comply with the relevant regulations of the state and the XX Hydropower Station project.

      (6) Construction machinery

       Ensuring good performance of various construction machinery and equipment is a prerequisite for ensuring construction safety. Strengthen the maintenance and upkeep of construction equipment, and prohibit the use of equipment with "problems." Strengthen the safety awareness of operators, resolutely eliminate illegal operations, and assign dedicated personnel for command in each construction operation area to strictly prevent confusion in construction machinery operation and major accidents.

     (7) Construction roads

      Ensuring the condition of construction roads is a key link in reducing vehicle accidents. When hidden dangers are found on the road surface, repair them promptly, especially anti-skid treatment of the road surface in rainy seasons, winter, and ice and snow seasons.

     (8) Grounding and lightning protection devices

        For all electrical equipment and buildings that may cause electric shock or are susceptible to lightning strikes, grounding devices or lightning protection devices will be installed, and we will be responsible for the installation, management, maintenance, and regular inspection of these devices.

     (9) Fire control and fire prevention

        Carry out fire control work within the jurisdiction well, and equip sufficient fire-fighting facilities at the construction site, warehouses, dormitories, and other locations.

     (10) Handling of work-related injuries

        In the event of a major personal casualty accident, it must be reported to superior organizations at all levels within 24 hours, actively carry out on-site rescue and closed protection, promptly form an accident investigation team with relevant units, and handle it in accordance with the accident investigation procedures of the state and the engineering bureau and the "three no-let-go principles."
