On May 3, Section 1 of the Tibet Gonggar Airport–Zedang Dedicated Highway reconstruction project, undertaken by China Railway 17th Bureau Group 4th Company, successfully completed the first pile foundation pouring along the entire line within just over 20 days of commencement. To ensure the successful pouring of the first pile, the project's technical management personnel conducted dedicated research and detailed briefings on the key technical, safety, and quality control points during construction, and strictly inspected processes such as sediment at the hole bottom, verticality of the reinforcement cage, concrete slump, and pouring speed on site in accordance with the construction plan. The successful pouring of the first pile foundation fired the first shot in the construction of the Gongze Dedicated Highway project, achieving a good start and laying a solid foundation for subsequent construction.
It is reported that Section 1 of the Gongze Dedicated Highway reconstruction project has a total length of 18,501 meters, located between Longba Village and Liuqiong Village, with a total cost of 511 million yuan. The section includes 5 new large bridges and approximately 1.3 million cubic meters of subgrade earth and rock work. The construction road adopts the standard of a two-way four-lane first-class highway with a design speed of 100 km/h. Once completed, the project will connect the Lhasa and Zedang economic center areas and serve as an important urban express link, providing a strong boost to economic development and urban infrastructure construction along the north bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River.
