Recently, the first pile foundation of Sijiaojing Bridge of the Wuyi New Area Expressway Project Department of China Railway 18th Bureau Group Fourth Company was successfully poured, marking the official start of the project department's bridge substructure construction.
The Wuyi New Area Expressway construction section starts near Huangtu Village, Xingtian Town, Wuyishan, and ends near Linwei Village. The total route length is 5.13 kilometers. The bored pile poured this time is Pile 2a-2# of the No. 2 main pier on the left side of Sijiaojing Bridge, which crosses the Ningwu Expressway. The pile has a designed length of 42.0 meters and a diameter of 2.0 meters. It is a rock-socketed pile constructed by rotary drilling, and is the pile foundation with the largest designed diameter and the longest depth in this section. This pouring used 135 m³ of C30 underwater concrete in a single continuous operation.
The successful completion of the first pile foundation pouring for the Wuyi New Area Expressway Project Department is not only a good start for the project's pile foundation construction, but also accumulates experience for later pile foundation pouring and gets the subsequent bridge substructure construction off to a good start.
