On March 8, the Third Branch of the Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou Project of China Railway Eighth Bureau Group No.3 Engineering Co., Ltd. successfully completed the test pile inspection of Pile No.1 of Pier No.1 (mileage DK275+434.35) of the North Throat Bridge in Shouxian County.
During the inspection, the project department strictly followed construction specifications and design requirements, and the entire process was accompanied and supervised by the supervision engineer. After the pile inspection was successfully completed, professional pile inspection personnel from Shanghai SGS and the supervision engineer stated that the test pile had good integrity and no defects.
The test pile inspection reflected the integrity of the test pile, confirmed that the test pile had no defects, and also determined that the type of drilling rig used for the test pile was suitable for the geological conditions and construction requirements; the working capability of the operators, the construction technology of bored cast-in-place piles, and the quality of raw materials met the on-site construction requirements, providing important guidance for the next stage of pile foundation construction.
