The century-old "Former Site of the Hankou Yiyong Firefighters Association" in Wuhan will be relocated as a whole, marking the first building relocation case for a cultural relic protection unit in Wuhan.
　　According to reports, urban development will take place around the "Former Site of the Hankou Yiyong Firefighters Association," and the relevant parties have chosen a plan to relocate it approximately 90 meters nearby.
　　The specific plan is to "package" the building into a single unit, pour a reinforced concrete "pallet," and during relocation, the stress points will be on the "pallet" rather than on the building structure itself.
　　Currently, the foundation of the "Former Site of the Hankou Yiyong Firefighters Association" has been hollowed out and reinforced, and the building has been lifted nearly 2 meters above the ground; scaffolding surrounds the building, and six reinforced concrete sliding tracks have been poured on the ground on the east side.
