　　The reporter learned from the meeting that Guangzhou's housing and urban-rural development successfully concluded the "12th Five-Year Plan." Guangzhou's urban infrastructure is increasingly complete, with 234 kilometers of municipal roads and bridges built, 9 metro lines totaling 266 kilometers in operation, and a comprehensive multi-center road network and large transportation system gradually taking shape. Key functional areas such as the Financial City and the Pazhou West District Internet Agglomeration Area are beginning to take shape.
　　During the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the city built and raised 166,800 units of various types of affordable housing, overfulfilling the affordable housing construction task. In addition, real estate development investment reached 820.198 billion yuan, and the construction industry maintained steady growth, completing a total construction output value of 1,030.815 billion yuan.

　　Accelerate the renovation of Luochongwei
　　This year is the opening year of the "13th Five-Year Plan." Guangzhou will focus on existing land such as functional areas and areas along rail transit, promote 15 square kilometers of land reserves, strive to build the "One River, Two Banks, Three Belts" city card, strengthen urban renewal, consolidate and enhance the renewal and transformation achievements of Tongdewei and Jinshazhou, and accelerate contiguous renovations such as Luochongwei, Datansha Island, Guangzhi Area, and Yuzhu Old Town. Promote the upgrading and transformation of old factories in the central urban area and micro-renovation of old communities and old villages.
　　Focus on building 3 sections of the Pearl River shoreline
　　This year, Guangzhou will focus on advancing 28 projects including the Guangzhou Avenue rapid transformation and the Linjiang Avenue East Extension, complete the construction of the new Guangzhou Bridge and the reinforcement of the old bridge, and complete and open a batch of projects including the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway Daguang Road entrance/exit, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Highway-Kaichuang Avenue interchange, and the Yixin Road renovation. With the concept of "one bridge, one scenery; one bridge, one feature," optimize and enhance bridge landscapes.
　　In terms of transportation, efforts will be made to complete and open the second phase of Metro Line 6, start construction of Line 11, and ensure the smooth implementation of national railway and intercity rail projects involving the Guangzhou section. Coordinate the second phase expansion of Baiyun Airport, 4 national railway projects, and 7 intercity rail constructions.
　　At the same time, accelerate the construction of a quality Pearl River, focusing on building 3 sections of 10 kilometers of Pearl River shoreline; advance the construction of 16.75 kilometers of underground utility tunnels.
　　Build 14 sewage treatment plants
　　This year, Guangzhou will comprehensively carry out comprehensive water environment improvement in the Liuxi River Basin, advance the improvement projects of 51 rivers and streams, basically complete the treatment of 16 Guangzhou-Foshan cross-border rivers and streams, and build 14 sewage treatment plants and 57 rural sewage treatment facilities. Accelerate the construction of the Beijiang Water Diversion Project, the first phase of the Northern Water Plant, and the Niulu Reservoir Project, improve the rural tap water renovation project, and keep the urban centralized drinking water source water quality compliance rate stable at 100%.
