On January 21, at the "BIM Technology Application Case Presentation Meeting" hosted by the Henan Provincial Engineering Construction Association, the ongoing BIM application case of Zhengzhou Metro Line 5 was presented as a typical case, showcasing the preliminary achievements of China Railway Seventh Group Zhengzhou Company in BIM application technology.

In recent years, China Railway Seventh Group Zhengzhou Company has attached great importance to research on the application of BIM technology, actively responded to the national guiding opinions on the promotion and application of BIM technology, actively explored the application of BIM technology, and focused on strengthening the study and application research of BIM technology. As early as the beginning of 2014, the company organized and launched work related to BIM technology application research, and successfully used the Zhengzhou Metro Line 5 and Shanghai Metro Line 14 projects as pilots, establishing BIM workstations on the projects to carry out practical BIM technology application research. At present, the research work is progressing smoothly overall and has achieved preliminary results.

In 2016, on the basis of successful applications in the Shanghai Metro and Zhengzhou Metro projects, the company will continue to increase investment in scientific research, strengthen the construction of BIM-related software and hardware platforms, BIM research institutions, talent teams, and application systems, vigorously pursue BIM training and certification, further strengthen business exchanges related to BIM application research with sister units, and strive to achieve better application results.
