At around 9 AM on January 20, accompanied by the rumbling of pile drivers, 400mm diameter prestressed concrete pipe piles were slowly pressed into the ground, marking the official start of construction for the Binjiang Jiuhua Wanjia Garden supporting primary school. Once completed, this primary school will promote the rational improvement of the educational layout in Yushan District and the balanced allocation of educational resources.

It is understood that the Binjiang Jiuhua Wanjia Garden supporting primary school is located on the west side of Niuzhu Road in Binjiang New District, with a planned land area of 30,000 square meters and a total construction area of 13,000 square meters. It will include 3 teaching buildings, 1 science and technology building, 1 administrative building, an all-weather sports field, a lecture hall, a cafeteria, a gatehouse, a grandstand, a sports ground, and other related ancillary works. The total investment is approximately 60 million yuan, and the school will have 40 classes, accommodating 1,800 students.

“Strengthen anti-freezing measures and build on time and in quantity every day to ensure project progress.” On the afternoon of January 25, Yuan Jun, the on-site person in charge of the Binjiang Jiuhua Wanjia Garden supporting primary school project, told reporters that even in cold weather, at least 40 workers are involved in on-site construction every day to ensure the progress of this important livelihood project in Yushan District. According to the construction schedule, this year will first build 2 teaching buildings, 1 science and technology building, and the lecture hall, and simultaneously complete the cafeteria, gatehouse, grandstand, and sports ground. During the summer vacation, internal teaching facilities will be installed, and enrollment is planned to begin for the new semester in September.
