The service life of the reducer can be considerably extended through proper maintenance and care measures.

　　Daily visual inspections are required, with particular attention to the sealing performance of the reducer.

　　Regularly check the reducer for abnormal noise.

　　Regularly check the oil level of the reducer.

　　First: Oil level check and oil change for the hoisting reducer

　　The oil level of the main hoist reducer should be checked every 50 hours. The initial oil change should be performed after 150 hours, and subsequently every 500 hours. The oil level of the main hoist reducer is checked at a plug on the side.

　　When changing the oil, first release the wire rope from the drum to expose the oil filler and drain holes. Then remove the drain plug directly below the reducer drum, and then remove the plug directly above to vent, allowing normal draining. After that, reinstall the drain plug, pour approximately 6 to 7 liters of CL-5 85W/90 heavy-duty vehicle gear oil through the filler port, and finally reinstall the filler plug. If the reducer has been stored for more than 12 months, special inspection and rust prevention treatment are required.

　　Second: Oil level check and oil change for the travel reducer

　　The oil level should be checked every 50 hours. The initial oil change should be performed after 150 hours, and subsequently every 1500 hours. The oil level of the travel reducer is checked by rotating the reducer to bring a plug to the middle oil level position. Rotate the reducer so that the oil level plug is horizontal and at the lowest position. Then remove the lower oil level plug, and then remove the horizontal drain plug to drain the oil. Then rotate the reducer so that the plug is horizontal and at the top. Pour approximately 8 to 9 liters of CL-5 85W/90 heavy-duty vehicle gear oil through the top plug. When gear oil starts to overflow from the horizontal plug, reinstall the horizontal plug. Then add another half liter of gear oil.

　　Oil level check method: Park the machine on level ground, rotate one plug of the travel reducer to the middle oil level position. If oil is visible after removing the oil level plug, the oil level is sufficient. If the reducer has been stored for more than 12 months, special inspection and rust prevention treatment are required.

　　Third: Oil level check and oil change for the luffing reducer

　　The oil level of the luffing reducer should be checked every 150 hours, and the oil should be changed every 1500 hours.

　　First remove the breather plug and filler plug, then remove the drain plug to drain the oil. After that, reinstall the drain plug, pour approximately 3 liters of CL-5 85W/90 heavy-duty vehicle gear oil through the filler port, and finally reinstall the filler plug and breather plug.

　　If the reducer has been stored for more than 12 months, special inspection and rust prevention treatment are required.

　　Fourth: Oil level check and oil change for the slewing reducer

　　The oil level should be checked every 50 hours. The initial oil change should be performed every 150 hours, and subsequently every 1500 hours. First remove the filler/breather plug on the reducer, then remove the drain plug at the drain port to drain the oil. After the oil is completely drained, first reinstall the drain plug, pour 6 liters of No. 18 hypoid gear oil through the filler port until the oil reaches a depth of 50-35 mm at the filler port, and finally reinstall the filler plug.

　　Park the machine on level ground, remove the filler plug, and check at a depth of 35-50 mm. If oil is visible, the oil level is sufficient.

　　If the reducer has been stored for more than 12 months, special inspection and rust prevention treatment are required.

　　Fifth: Precautions for inspection and oil change

　　1. When changing oil, filter the drained oil through a clean cloth before it flows into the container, and observe whether there is metal powder.

　　2. During oil level checks, if the oil level is found to be insufficient, add oil promptly.

　　3. When changing oil, be sure to drain all residual oil completely before adding new gear oil.
