On December 23, the inaugural meeting of the Henan Province Strategic Alliance for Construction Waste Resource Utilization was held in Luoyang. The official launch of the alliance marks that construction waste resource utilization in Henan Province has entered a stage of rapid advancement.

　　The meeting noted that the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government attach great importance to construction waste resource utilization and have issued implementation "Opinions." Provincial Party Secretary Guo Gengmao, Governor Xie Fuzhan, Vice Governor Li Ya, and other leaders have repeatedly inquired about the work and made instructions, requiring summarizing experience and vigorously promoting the inclusion of construction waste management and resource utilization in the province's urban infrastructure construction "13th Five-Year Plan," to be planned, implemented, and advanced together. To this end, the Party Group of the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has attached great importance and acted actively, issuing the "Implementation Plan" for the "pilot province," requiring the establishment of a rationally laid out, standardized, and technologically advanced construction waste resource utilization and disposal system. The establishment of this strategic alliance for construction waste resource utilization will effectively promote the smooth implementation of the "pilot province" work.

　　The meeting emphasized that the strategic alliance, with enterprises, universities, and research institutions as the main body, combines diverse and multi-level independent research and development with open cooperative innovation, aims to form core industrial competitiveness, focuses on optimizing the industrial technology innovation chain, uses market mechanisms to gather innovation resources, innovates the industry-university-research cooperation mechanism, achieves effective strategic-level integration of enterprises, universities, and research institutions, and jointly works to break through the technological bottlenecks in scientific and technological innovation and industrial development of construction waste resource utilization, enhancing the overall level of the province's construction waste resource utilization industry. All units should take the establishment of the "alliance" as an opportunity to accelerate the exploration of new models for comprehensive construction waste resource utilization in Henan Province, making new contributions to comprehensively improving the management level of comprehensive construction waste utilization, improving the urban environment, and building a beautiful Henan.

　　At the meeting, representatives from 9 alliance member units, including Luoyang MCC Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd., Henan Shengtian Environmental Protection Renewable Resources Utilization Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Dingsheng Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., Xuchang Jinke Resource Recycling Co., Ltd., CNBM (Luoyang) Energy-Saving Technology Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Yifan Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou University, and Henan Polytechnic University, jointly signed the initiative and unveiled the alliance together.

　　About 120 people attended the meeting, including heads of wall material reform offices from provincial municipalities and directly administered counties (cities), council members of the Henan Province Wall Materials Industry Association, and alliance member units.
