On December 7, Shi Taifeng, Deputy Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Acting Governor, accompanied by provincial and municipal leaders including Zhang Jinghua, Secretary-General of the Provincial Government, Cao Xinping, Secretary of the Xuzhou Municipal Party Committee, and Mayor Zhu Min, visited the XCMG wheeled crane production base for research and guidance. Wang Min, Chairman and Party Secretary of XCMG, and Lu Chuan, Vice President, accompanied the visit. Governor Shi Taifeng toured the industry's largest and most automated structural welding cluster and the world's first linear assembly line for super-large tonnage cranes, and encouraged XCMG to make persistent efforts, adhere to innovation-driven development, accelerate transformation and upgrading, and build itself into a benchmark enterprise.
Chairman Wang Min gave a detailed introduction to XCMG's production and operations, scientific and technological research and development, and transformation and development. Governor Shi Taifeng spoke highly of and fully affirmed XCMG's innovative achievements and development performance in recent years, and expressed sincere appreciation for many iconic products and technological innovation breakthroughs, especially XCMG's world's largest 4,000-tonne crawler crane and 2,000-tonne all-terrain crane.
