Precautions for the 5474 gyratory crusher:

After the gyratory crusher enters normal crushing operation, the following matters must be observed and noted during operation:

(1) Check the operation condition; there should be no abnormal knocking sound inside the crusher. In special circumstances, stop operation immediately. The feed size must not exceed 0.8 times the feed opening. The discharge chute and the lower part of the crushing cone must not be blocked by ore; otherwise, the ore will lift the crushing cone and ore powder will enter the eccentric shaft, causing an accident;

(2) Frequently check whether the connecting pins between the crossbeam, middle frame body and base are loose and whether the 15.0mm gap along the circumference is equal;

(3) Pay attention to checking the tightness of the V-belts. You can press down on the V-belt with your thumb to measure tension. If the depression does not exceed 1.5cm, the tightness is appropriate (measurement must be done before starting or after stopping). Check for breakage and make sure the V-belts do not get stained with oil;

(4) Pay attention to the operation of the oil pump, and frequently check the oil flow indicators, oil temperature and oil pressure readings at various points. The temperature of the oil after passing through the cooler should not be higher than 45–53°C, and the return oil temperature should not be higher than 60°C. Supply oil to the upper suspension device on time;

(5) Check whether the liners at various parts are loose, missing or severely worn; strictly check the feed condition and effectively prevent metal objects such as hammer heads and drill bits from entering the crushing cavity;

(6) If an unexpected accident occurs during operation, such as the chute being blocked by ore, oil supply stopping, oil temperature exceeding 60°C, or knocking sound from the bevel gear, handle it immediately according to the prescribed procedures;
